Platypus Playground, but only

Sunrise attempt #2 – another fail. Alarm set too early, a chill in the air
meant more sleep was enjoyed…
It was a day of failed animal sightings – we didn’t
see Platypus in the Platypus Playground nor Snakes in Snake Lagoon.

Did see a
sandy creek at Sandy Creek, an arch at Admirals Arch and some pretty remarkable
rocks at the Remarkable Rocks. Nature wins out.

Key learnings
1. The Beaut was coping with some hefty corrugations, good news all round!
2. WD40 as a late addition to the packing fixed the barbeque set, prevented
what was feared as the second camping fail of the trip to date.
Beard Update #1 – After some pre-trip growth, had sort of missed the itchy
phase. Not yet past the stubble phase as yet.
